Downaload FrostWire for mac now, this is an open-source peer-to-peer (P2P) file-sharing program. It uses the Gnutella network and is heavily based on the better-known LimeWire program. It also recently included BitTorrent support.

if you need smaller size file sharing program you can choose BitTorrent, it enables a user to search for files in the .Torrent (pronounced “dot torrent”) format and download them. The current client enables a host of features including multiple parallel downloads. The client also intermediates peering between itself, source file servers (”trackers”) and other clients, thereby yielding great distribution efficiencies. The client also enables users to create and share torrent files.

Azureus is famous Java based BitTorrent client, with support for I2P and Tor anonymous communication protocols. It currently supports Windows, Mac OS X, Linux and Unix. Azureus was started at Sourceforge.net mostly to experiment with the Standard Widget Toolkit from Eclipse, in June 2003. It is possibly the most popular of all BitTorrent clients.
